However, it requires that we have access to an authoritative source of all released version and the corresponding version, that they show in the Launcher. But if there isn't then we can't reliable report the version. Unless, of course, they store it in the registry, in which case we can, when we support the contextual rules.</p>

<p dir="auto">For <strong>Star Citizen</strong> the <strong>detected version</strong> is <strong>3.1.11.36589</strong>.<br />
In the RSI Launcher the version <strong>3.1.4-LIVE.757485</strong> is displayed.</p>
<p dir="auto">I looked at the EXE properties, here the <strong>displayed-version</strong> and the <strong>product-version</strong> is <strong>3.1.11.36589</strong>.<br />
And this is what you detect.</p>

But it could be that the version number stored in the EXE is not correct.</p>
