So for administrators it would be very interesting to know what applications were installed manually and what clients (users) have installed these apps.</p>
<p dir="auto">So when you Gather installed software in the <strong>company</strong> (<a href="https://vulndetect.com/topic/112/gather-installed-software-in-the-company" rel="nofollow ugc">https://vulndetect.com/topic/112/gather-installed-software-in-the-company</a>) then you have a complete list of all applications in the company.</p>
<p dir="auto">The administrator should select what applications are allowed (he is doing this once) and all applications that are left are manually installed.<br />
Then he can check what installations are OK (like programming tools, assistive tools) and mark these applications as "OK".<br />
At the end he can see a list of applications that are installed manually and that should be further investigated.</p>
<p dir="auto">Maybe the administrator gets an automatic notification, wen a new application is found that is not on the white list.</p>
