So you should <strong>show the same version number</strong> that is shown in the app.</p>

I could change the product name to Star Citizen (Alpha), but I know you aren't a fan of that, and it will be incorrect once they release something non-alpha.</p>

With regards to version, then I am not aware of any way to extract the version number from the UI. Until we learn of a way to reliably get this information, we will stick to the version info from the executable.</p>

So maintaining correct version numbers for Star Citizen will require manual reporting by you for now.</p>
<p dir="auto">I will wait with updating the version number and await the next release of Star Citizen. SP please do update this post when a new version is released so we can see what relation there is between the file and the UI.</p>
