[Added] HWiNFO (Hardware Info Program for Win) - App-Request
-
I have this tool too, so detection would be fine.
In my folder there is a x32 and a x64 app.
Here are the app details:

I am using the install version and it is not displayed. Neither the 32bit version nor the 64 bit version.
-
It is not yet supposed.
I posted this info that @Tom has a second version (portable) as reference -
Generic detection has been added
-
HWiNFO is detected by VulnDetect and the version number is also correct.
It is shown as HWiNFO Hardware Info Program for Win32/64.@Tom You should alter the name (like it is shown in the field "Product Name"):
- HWiNFO (Hardware Info Program for Win32)
- HWiNFO (Hardware Info Program for Win64)
I added ( and ).
And I replaced Win32/64 with Win32 and Win64. -
@Tom detected, version number correct, name in my system: HWiNFO32
-
@Anselm I just checked this again, right now I can't overwrite the product name based on architecture, without duplicating the whole Ruleset, so we have to live with a slightly off name for now..

@Tom In my opinion the program name HWiNFO Hardware Info Program for Win32/64 is wrong.
Because you use the same title for the 32-Bit Version and also for the 64-Bit Version. You plan to Differentiate between 32-Bit and 64-Bit (and you also write this information in the list of applications).
So I would delete the text for Win32/64 (the new application name is HWiNFO Hardware Info Program). -
@OLLI_S i agree
-
In my list of applications I see HWiNFO Hardware Info Program.
Thank you for adjusting the name!I mark the topic as Added and move it to the category Added App Requests.
