[Solved] VLC media player (Portable)
-
@olli_s Yes, I know, there is a limitation in how we use the version info from the products. I also prefer the "." over "," and we will find a good way to solve this going forward, but showing "," is a workaround for now.
-
No problem, I just leave this topic OPENED
-
@olli_s Or perhaps make another post with a more generic request for better consistency in displaying version numbers
-
@tom You mean App-Detection: VLC media player (Portable) - Version Number ?
-
I added the following topic VLC media player (Portable) - Version 3.0.3.0 available
So this issue here is solved. -
@olli_s Yes, that is correct. I just updated the rule, but I don't think it displays correctly, I've created an internal ticket on this.
-
@olli_s No, a generic one, because I found two other apps that have the same issue today.
-
Are you talking about the missing update or the version number display issue?
-
@olli_s Version display
-
I added the new topic VLC media player - Display Version Number correctly
So we don't loose focus on this and we can mark this topic as "Solved"
