[Solved] GeForce Experience 3.18.0.94 - Why is it Beta?
-
Today GeForce Experience installed automatically an update to 3.18.0.94.
In Help -> About I see nowhere a Beta message.GeForce Experience is installed in the following folders:
1) C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NvNode\nvnodejslauncher.exe
2) C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Downloader\PostProcessing\GFE\f1414a146c96250d9dff77a7f632c947\nodejs\nvnodejslauncher.exe
3) C:\Users\All Users\NVIDIA Corporation\Downloader\PostProcessing\GFE\f1414a146c96250d9dff77a7f632c947\nodejs\nvnodejslauncher.exeWhen a new version is released, then it is downloaded but not installed immediately.
After some time it is installed.
This is the reason why there are newer unreleased version on my PC but they are not beta. -
When we added a rule for it, there was no mentioning of 3.18.0.94, only of 3.18.0.92 (which is beta) and of 3.17.0.126 which was the recommended.
And this thread on the forum strongly indicated that .94 indeed also was / is beta:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1103472/geforce-experience/geforce-experience-3-18-0-94/But, I can see that they updated the website yesterday and now consider 3.18.0.94 as stable and as the recommended and latest version.

GeForce Experience is no longer shown as Beta.
So I mark the topic as Solved and move it to the category Solved Detection Issues.
