Notes:
- This is a scientific tool that simulates folding of proteins (to find cure fir many diseases (like cancer).
The project is distributing the heavy calculation workload to the community (so users like me help researching). - The application has no version information stored (see below)
- The icon is available in 128 x 128 pixel,
The application has no version information stored in the EXE file.
The desktop icon is executing the following command:"C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient\HideConsole.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient\FAHClient.exe" --open-web-control

Folding@home was updated to 7.6.9.
And again, there is no version number in the EXE file. But in the Windows 10 Settings -> Apps -> Apps & Features the correct version info is shown:
So I searched the Registry and found this key:
Path: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\FAHClient Key: DisplayVersion Value: 7.6.9
So now you are able to get the version information for Folding@home.

@Tom In my original posting I uploaded the app-icon in ICO-format.
So here is the app-icon in PNG-format: -
Folding@home was updated to 7.6.13
And again, there is no version number in the EXE file.
But in the registry the version number can be found:
Path: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\FAHClient Key: DisplayVersion Value: 7.6.13

Folding@home is detected internally but there is no version number shown.

I am closing this issue, because Folding@home is added.
For the version number I will create a new topic.
