A new agent has been release today, more details here:
Provide a listing of all programs and their status: Program Name, Number Installed, Installed Version, Secure Version, Security Criticality, Status (all similar to PSI v3)
Suggested by @Alex-Connolly
I had rather to have automatic scanning within a defined planning (nearly as proposed at this time) but with the possibility to have a manual scanning, eg to verify if an update is safe.
VulnDetect allows now to update the local agent from the list of applications with just one mouse click.
This feature is still experimental, so this suggestion is Work in Progress.
I also would like to see what apps are watched by VulnDetect.
@Tom is this risky?
Thank you for this suggestion.
@CTaylor We have added category Detection Issues and Suggestions in the forums where you also can report suggestions for applications.
Is that suitable enough?
Provide an ignore capability to exclude programs from reporting and put them at the bottom of the program list
This is not very intuitive and a bad usability, me and some other users did not know that entries in the list can be expanded.
So I suggested: Add icons to indicate collapse feature
OK, I mark this idea as Implemented and move it to the category Implemented Feature Requests.
I think this applies only to Microsoft Windows (and all apps bundled with Windows) and Microsoft Office.
Or are there any other apps that are updated via Windows Update?
