@olli_s No, it is because of the filename: "pidgin-portable.exe"
The other portable apps you have, they seem to be using the original filename.
I will consider if we should alter the rule to accommodate this.

On the official website there is only the installer available.
So just skip Pidgin (Portable) and detect the nowmal version.I downloaded and installed Pidgin in my VM.
