Star Citizen - Alter Version Number

Star Citizen is detected correctly on my system, but the displayed version number should be altered.
In the application the displayed version number is 3.3.6.
In VulnDetect the displayed version number is 3.3.15.15132.
So you should show the same version number that is shown in the app.

Tell me if you need a screen shot of the Help -> About window.

I just checked the registry, there is no useful information for Star Citizen. So maintaining correct version numbers for Star Citizen will require manual reporting by you for now.

I will wait with updating the version number and await the next release of Star Citizen. SP please do update this post when a new version is released so we can see what relation there is between the file and the UI.

Star Citizen is an Alpha software (so you should flag it like this).

@OLLI_S Alpha has been added.
With regards to version, then I am not aware of any way to extract the version number from the UI. Until we learn of a way to reliably get this information, we will stick to the version info from the executable.

There is no "Alpha" shown, also not the Prerelease label.

@OLLI_S I added the Pre-release flag, but I have to now way to get the version or Alpha reliably. I could change the product name to Star Citizen (Alpha), but I know you aren't a fan of that, and it will be incorrect once they release something non-alpha.

@Tom The officially version number displayed in the Star Citizen Launcher is Star Citizen Alpha 3.4.1

So please call the product Star Citizen and set the version number to Alpha 3.4.1
