In the past Origin watched over all installed applications and sent too much data to EA, so I am only using it in my VM (so VulnDetect can find it)

Origin is now detected 4 times on my VM:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\Origin.exe
C:\ProgramData\Origin\SelfUpdate\Staged\Origin.exe
C:\Users\All Users\Origin\SelfUpdate\Staged\Origin.exe
C:\Windows.old\Users\All Users\Origin\SelfUpdate\Staged\Origin.exe

For all 4 instances the version ? is shown.

When I extract the version information from C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\Origin.exe then I get:

If I go to Help -> Info then I get the version 10.5.21.179 - 0 shown.
So the extracted version info can be used, you just need to replace the , (comma) by . (dot).

I also extracted the version info from all other 3 instances, they show the same version number (so just use the version number from the EXE).

@olli_s Yes, that annoying comma. Since this is such a common issue, we will not deal with this on a per rule basis, but rather make something more generic for all programs. I've created an internal ticket for that improvement.
