[Solved] Firefox - Wrong Version detected after Update to 62.0
Today I installed an update for Firefox (new version 62.0) but VulnDetect does not detect the installed version correctly (version 62.0 Beta is shown)!
In the Configuration of VulnDetect I see: Last Inspection 18 minutes ago.
Here the information extracted from the EXE file:
File name and path: D:\PortableApps\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox\firefox.exe Product Name: Firefox Internal Name: Firefox Original Filename: firefox.exe File Description: Firefox Company: Mozilla Corporation Legal Copyright: ©Firefox and Mozilla Developers; available under the MPL 2 license. Legal Trademarks: Firefox is a Trademark of The Mozilla Foundation. Comments: File Version String: 62.0 File Version: 184.108.40.20616 Product Version String: 62.0 Product Version: 220.127.116.11
Now it is fixed.
We updated the Firefox Rules a few days ago.
Is this not fixed now?
Here is the information shown in Firefox Help -> About:
The Beta is still shown!
