[Added] MiTeC DirList - App-Request
Name of the app:
MiTeC (Michal Mutl)
Version number displayed in the app:
- The name of the app in the title bar of the window is MiTec DirList
- The name of the app in the "About" window is DirList
- The files you download are a zipped EXE (so there is no installation needed)
Here the information extracted from the EXE file:
File name and path: D:\PortableApps\PortableApps\_WSCCPortable\MiTeC Utilities\DirList.exe Product Name: DirList Internal Name: Original Filename: File Description: Folder listing creator Company: MiTeC Legal Copyright: Copyright (c) 2006-2018, Michal Mutl Legal Trademarks: All rights reserved Comments: File Version String: 126.96.36.199 File Version: 188.8.131.52 Product Version String: 184.108.40.206 Product Version: 220.127.116.11
MiTeC DirList is now detected by VulnDetect and the version number 1.3.0 is also correct.
Thank you for adding this!
@OLLI_S We will follow the standard protocol of using the versions listed on the websites, as long as they make sense (aren't ambiguous).
I did not know the download page, I just went to the website of the desired application and downloaded it there (and at the website of the desired application there is no version info shown, just at the download page).
And in the application (Help -> About) all version numbers are shown with 4 digits.
So again: this is not consistent!
@Tom What should we do?
I saw that this problem exists at all tools from MiTeC
@Tom: why do you detect version 1.3.0 and not 18.104.22.168 as it is shown in Help -> About:
At the website there is also no version info shown.
So why do you display just 3 digits?
