RE: Welcome to VulnDetect the alternative to the Secunia PSI which will "die" on 20th April 2018
PSI user for years I liked the continuous update of recognized apps and eventually to keep out of scan dead apps.
As many others, I hated the splash screen
I did not used the update feature as most of the times it did not work as "run as".
One thing missing is to have some control on the schedule of scans.Hope this helps.

RE: VulnDetect Agent should notify Available Updates
@olli_s You shall know when you have something to do, something goes wrong and when all is OK.

RE: Change time in logs to local time
@olli_s For personal use, using local time could be acceptable even if this causes some troubles at Daily summer time changes. For administration in an international context it is a nightmare.
I suggest to use eventlog which stores data in UTC and display using local time of the one who displays the logs. This also have the advantage to manage security of logs. -
RE: Add multiple computers (Family/Companies)
To add some clues:
- home / family computers should not be restricted to home / family / student version (professional versions shall be allowed)
- IP address shall not be a criteria to differentiate computers: it is now quite current to have multi-homed, multi-stacks home computers but you still have NAT for IP V4.
Hope this helps.

RE: IP V6 support
@tom No issue with IPV6 as far as I can see.
IP adresses of systems on my personal LAN are reported using IPV6.
Glad to see a product which does not prefer reporting IPV4 when both stacks are active.Regards.

Rufus: latest build reported as old
Hi,
Rufus 4.2 (Build 2074) is reported as older than 4.2 (Build 2070) and not the recommended version.
Checked on https://rufus.ie/en/: 2074 is the current build.

RE: PowerShell 7.x download page does not redirect to a download page
@Tom & @OLLI_S : Fixed.
@Tom : Did not find better.
It gives access to 7.3.x but also, if you scroll down, to 7.2.x and even on beta 7.4.0. -
RE: PowerShell 7.x download page does not redirect to a download page
@TechnicalKat Yes, Powershell should update by Windows Update or Microsoft Store.
But Vulndetect has a download link. This could allow anyone to get this software without these tools for whatever they have to do it like this. That's better when it points to something useful

Powershell 7.x (7.3.6 for the latest stable version) is officially available on github: https://github.com/PowerShell/PowerShell/releases/
The given link: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/powershell/ does not help to find the package.

RE: Ghostscript download page again redirected to the not useful Artifex/ghostscript page
@Tom : As I have the latest version, so I've no more the download page.
The product home pageis the right / useful one: https://ghostscript.com/releases/gsdnld.html .
I am quite sure that I got https://artifex.com/products/ghostscript/ when using the download button:.
I did not think this was a temporary error. When few seconds later after using the button, I used the the download link that I found in my bowser history it worked perfectly.
Hope this helps.

Ghostscript download page again redirected to the not useful Artifex/ghostscript page
Hi,
The page where you can find Ghostcript version is here: https://ghostscript.com/releases/gsdnld.html
The Artifex product page referenced is of no use as you cannot find the free or paid version download page: https://artifex.com/products/ghostscript/ .
Can you please switch back to the useful download page?
