Currently you can start a full system scan manually if you use the Toolbox for VulnDetect
At top of the list of apps you see now the new "Inspect This Computer" button:

Clicking this button sill start a full system scan on your computer. So this suggestion has been implemented.
I saw that this feature is implemented now, so this feature is done.
The scan started, so I set the status of this issue to "Solved".
