And you have the official comment from the official Discord Server of the Microsoft PC Manager

@Tom : I do not see what could mean "a standard sub application" of Cygwin. Cygwin allows Linuxes / Unixes apps to run on Windows when recompiled using the cygwin emulation DLLs. So, you can have, multiple apps maintained or not available thru the Cygwin installer that manage dependencies. I most of the times use it for openssl client. So I removed Filezilla as I did not need it. I suppose it was installed due to a bug. I know that I do not answer to your question but I am unable to give you a yes/no answer. Hope this helps. @Tom I deleted the version from PortableApps.com and went back to the official version from Piriform. @OLLI_S I changed it so we recommend the version that is available for download, despite other parts of the website recommending another version. That other place on the website also doesn't mention anything about beta versions. We will not start monitoring the forums and thus beta versions, since you are the only user of this software.

@Tom : As far as I remember, I did an inspection as I saw the new version was not reported.

@Tom What about the file path? If there is \PortableApps\PortableApps\7-ZipPortable\App in the file path, it is the portable version from PortableApps.
